Join a Community

Our program is small. This means you will get to know the other students and the faculty and have the opportunity to build a strong network.

Small Classes, Large Opportunities

  • Our maximum class size is 30 students, so you will get personalized attention and form strong relationships with your highly qualified faculty.
  • Elective classes are shared with other colleges in the state.
    • You have many class options to choose from and your ability to specialize isn't constrained.
    • Elective classes are held in a hybrid online/in-person format, providing more flexibility for students.
  • Our program welcomes students who have completed the prerequisite classes listed below,  regardless of prior degrees or qualifications.

Learn In-Demand Skills That Endure

While many other bachelor's programs focus on getting projects up and running, our program focuses on the big ideas behind the technology. Students are required to demonstrate an understanding of the theory behind the current implementation as part of the program. This means that when languages and technologies change, you won't have to re-learn from scratch. You will be able to translate your knowledge to the new systems with ease.

Get Support at Every Step

  • Smaller class sizes enable you to receive personalized attention and form strong relationships with your faculty.
  • The BS-CS program manager will be your assigned advisor and connect you with college resources that will support your success in the program.
  • You will have access to the Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement (MESA) + STEM study room.

Save Money

Tuition for the program is half the national average! This is based on tuition and fees for BS degrees at Edmonds College compared to tuition and fees for all four-year institutions, as calculated by the National Center for Education Statistics.
