Your Accessible Path to Healthcare Graduate School: Edmonds College Post-Baccalaureate
The post-baccalaureate program at Edmonds College is specifically designed to assist
you by breaking
down the application process into small manageable steps which makes applying to medical/dental
school,
ARNP, PA, PT/OT, and pharmacy programs less overwhelming and more accessible than
ever.
It was created by people who worked in healthcare, were on admissions committees,
and are passionate about
sharing their expertise.
The post-bacc program's flexibility allows you to start any quarter and enroll in the exact number of prerequisite science classes you need. With options to complete coursework online, hybrid, or in person, the program accommodates a wide range of schedules.
The infrastructure of the pre-health post bacc program is designed to teach the precise
soft skills that medical
schools are looking for. It also provides guidance to help you understand the various
application processes and
the tiny nuances that lead to applicants getting accepted. We assist students in not
just writing their story, but
their best story.
What are the benefits of the postbacc program?
For a fee of just $65 per quarter, you will receive:
- Quarterly Guest Speakers: A diverse group of providers, patients, current graduate students, and social service agencies discuss the social determinants of health.
- Unique Program Opportunities: Access to exclusive mentoring and community partnerships, which significantly strengthen applications.
- MCAT Test Preparation: Discounts for MCAT preparation products, connections to tutors, and on-site proctored MCAT practice testing is available.
- Application & Essay Workshops: Assistance with the application process and essay writing, all taught by former Admissions Committee members.
- A Strong Community: A supportive online and in-person Postbacc community with quarterly check-ins.
- A Detailed Certificate of Completion: A final certificate that validates you have obtained the soft skills needed for success in medical, dental, PA, PT/OT programs, and beyond.
- Increased Acceptance at Medical Schools: Many of our students have been accepted to medical schools including: UW Medicine-University of Washington, Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine-Washington State University, PNWU Health Sciences, Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine, and more.
