Hear Between the Lines advisor's work at poetry reading

Amanda Laughtland's chapbook I Meant to Say was published by Overhere Press in 2007.

English instructor Amanda Laughtland, advisor for the college's arts and literary publication Between the Lines, will read 7 p.m., Fri., Oct. 23 at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, Seattle.

Laughtland is the author of "Postcards to Box 464," forthcoming from Bootstrap Press, as well as a chapbook, "I Meant to Say," published by Overhere Press. The reading is a release celebration for an anthology of writing from 21 Stars Review, an online literary journal.

Laughtland is an Edmonds CC alumna who went on to earn her bachelor's in English at the University of Washington. She earned her Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, poetry, at the University of Washington in 2004. She publishes books and zines under her imprint, Teeny Tiny.
