Get money to finish your degree this spring

f you’ll be ready to complete your degree spring quarter, but are falling short on the funds you need to do so apply for a Complete the Dream scholarship from the Edmonds College Foundation and get it done! Applications are due by 2 p.m., Monday, April 6. Download the application online or get it from the Foundation office, Snohomish Hall 311.
This scholarship provides a one-time award to help offset an unexpected financial situation that would prevent a student from finishing his or her education by the end of spring quarter 2009. Students may receive only one Complete the Dream Scholarship during their time at Edmonds College and cannot receive this scholarship and another Foundation scholarship in the same academic year.
The maximum amount awarded per student is up to one quarter’s tuition, fees and books (contingent on available funds and the number of applications received). Applicants will be notified by phone the afternoon of April 6 if they have been awarded the scholarship, or sent an email, if not.
To qualify, students must:
- be ready to complete a degree or program of study by the end of spring quarter 2009
- have experienced a recent significant and unexpected change in their financial situation
- be currently enrolled in good standing at Edmonds College
They may not have received a Foundation scholarship for the 2008/09 academic year.
