Edmonds College's Horticulture Department will be at the 2009 Northwest Flower and Garden Show Feb. 18-22. Stop by our booth to say hello and learn more about our program.

Hardscape: Know Your Options: Hardscape Choices for Residential Gardens, 10 a.m., Fri., Feb. 20 with Polly Hankin
The Green Side Goes Up! Fundamentals of Garden Planning, 5:30 p.m., Sat., Feb. 21, with Greg Butler
Green Gardening: Ideas for Earth-Friendly Gardening, 5:30 p.m., Fri., Feb. 20, with Christina Pfeiffer
Sustainable Containers: Best Practices for “Greening” Your Containers, 2 p.m., Fri., Feb. 20, with Wendy Welch
Wendy Welch, along with other landscape designers, will also be offering free 20-minute garden design consultations at the NW Horticulture Society booth in the education section.
Also, look for many outstanding Edmonds CC horticulture alumni at the show. Last year, landscape design graduates Janine Anderson and Terry Lelievre showed a winning garden.
