Sociology instructor Susanne Bohmer has published an article, "Using Assessment to Guide and Revitalize Diversity Instruction," in Diversity & Democracy, a periodical published by the Association of American Colleges and Universities.

Bohmer wrote about Edmonds College's implementation of a cultural diversity requirement and creation of a Diversity Studies department.
