Symphonic choir concert: 'Poetry in Song'

The Edmonds College Symphonic Choir performs “Poetry in Song,” 7:30 p.m., Mon., March
16 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6215 196th St. SW, Lynnwood.
The choir puts poems to music including works by Shakespeare, Langston Hughes, Robert Frost, E.E. Cummings, William Butler Yeats, Robert Burns, Lord Byron, Walt Whitman, and Sara Teasdale.
Edmonds CC music instructor Kirk Marcy conducts.
The concert is free to students with ID. There is a suggested donation of $7 for adults or $5 for seniors. For more information, call 425.640.1650.
