Edmonds CC named Fit-Friendly Company

Edmonds College has been named a Fit-Friendly Company by The American Heart Association following an extensive review of the college's physical activity (availability of facilities and classes), nutrition (healthy options available on campus and education/information about good nutrition), and culture (wellness program, health screenings and services, including CPR training).
To be designated Fit-Friendly, the college had to meet nine criteria. Edmonds CC exceeded this requirement qualifying in 13 areas. The college will appear in the 2009 Honor Roll in Fortune magazine.
