Housing director named Employee of the Month
10/20/2009
Luke Botzheim, housing director at Edmonds College, was named Employee of the Month for October 2009. He began working at the college four years ago. Since then, with the help of his expertise, the college has expanded its host family program and opened Rainier Place, a new on campus residence hall for 183 students.
Botzheim was previously manager of the International Living Center at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Before that, he was an international student life coordinator at Eastern Washington University, where he earned his master’s in International Communications and Student Development and his bachelor’s in Psychology.
The college's Employee of the Month receives a certificate of recognition from the college president and a reserved parking space. Nominations are now being accepted for future honorees. Email dolsen@edmonds.edu and provide a short narrative describing why the nominee should be honored.
