Edmonds College to purchase business park

A public hearing on Edmonds College's purchase of a business park from the City of Lynnwood will be held Mon., Jan. 24 during the regular business meeting of the Lynnwood City Council at the Lynnwood City Hall, 19100–44th Avenue West, Lynnwood. The council meeting begins at 7 p.m.
The Lynnwood City Council authorized the purchase in December. The property, located at 7010, 7014, and 7016 Street Southwest, Lynnwood, is approximately 3.65 acres and includes a warehouse building, two small office buildings, outside storage and parking. The college seeks the property as part of its long term master plan for campus facilities and to provide additional parking.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Lynnwood, Washington, has scheduled a public hearing on the sale of the real property located at 7010, 7014, and 7016 196th Street Southwest, Lynnwood, Washington, Parcel Number 27042000201400, as depicted on the accompanying graphic. The parcel is approximately 3.65 acres and includes a warehouse building, two small office buildings, outside storage and parking.
The proposed sale of the real property is to Edmonds College. The sale helps implement the Edmonds College Master Plan by enabling the connection of the north and south campus areas, accommodating future expansion of campus facilities, and providing additional parking.
The public hearing on the property sale will be held during the Regular Business Meeting of the Lynnwood City Council at 7 p.m., January 24, in the Lynnwood Council Chambers at the Lynnwood City Hall, 19100 – 44th Avenue West, Lynnwood, Washington
Public comments regarding the property sale are invited, and the comments of all interested parties will be heard.
