Horticulture instructor Gayle Larson was featured with Ted Hoppin in "Garden Mentors
and Coaches" in the Spring 2011 edition of WestSound Home & Garden magazine. Larson teaches Spring Vegetable Garden, HORT 255, 8-11:50 a.m., Mondays
this spring. Larson earned her two year degree in Landscape Design in 2006 from Edmonds
College and now teaches at the college part-time.
She is a Washington State Nursery and Landscape Association Certified Professional Horticulturist and the owner of Dancing Raven Design, a business specializing in edible garden consultation and design.

Spring Vegetable Garden, HORT 255
Learn to design, build and manage a successful edible garden through hands-on work with vegetables, herbs and berry plants in the campus garden. Emphasis on sustainable techniques, including soil building, fertilization and pest control. Demonstrated techniques are applicable to home and market garden.
