Musaic, 7:30 p.m., Friday, June 8, showcases talented students in the Edmonds College Digital Music Program for an innovative multimedia performance at the Black Box Theatre in Mukilteo Hall.

It's free and open to the public. A $7 suggested donation supports music scholarships.

This year's concert performance features student musicians interacting with computers, with live vocal sampling, piano processing, guitar looping, FX sampling, and video game simulations of musical instruments battling it out.

Featured student musicians are Kasey Clarke, Josh Richins, Eric Hansen, Matt Sledgianowski, Calvin Hanson, Connor Favero, Arron Rudeen, Colin Berg, and Michael Martz.

“Our Digital Music program prides itself as being one of the most exciting, advanced, and forward-thinking community college programs in the country,” said Edmonds College music instructor Nick Sibicky. “Musaic is the perfect opportunity to experience this overflowing creativity and ingenuity.”
