Convocation for employees Sept. 17; limited college services Monday morning

Edmonds College will hold its convocation Mon., Sept. 17 for college employees at
Edmonds Center for the Arts. Services at the college will be limited that morning
8 a.m.-1:30 p.m. so that all employees can attend. The Advising Resource Center will
be open as usual at 9 a.m. in the lobby of Lynnwood Hall to answer general questions,
make advising appointments, and take documents from students.
Many other offices open at 1:30 p.m. including Enrollment/Financial Services, Advising, Testing, Running Start, and Human Resources.
It's the start of our college’s 46th year. As the third largest community college in the state of Washington, we are impacting the lives of more than 20,000 students a year. Fall quarter classes start Mon., Sept. 24.
College employees will:
- Celebrate accomplishments;
- Learn about initiatives for 2012-13; and
- Get ready for the start of fall quarter Sept. 24 by hearing from some of our students and learning more about their diverse needs.
Services at the college will be limited that morning so that all employees can attend. The event begins at 8 a.m. and ends at about 11:30 a.m.
Employees are being encouraged to make reservations for lunch at one of the great restaurants in Edmonds.
