Edmonds CC student athletes and scholars highlighted in two photo exhibits

11/12/13

Two new student-photographed exhibits can now been seen at Edmonds College, 20000 68th Ave. W. The exhibits, which are open to the public, are called “Profiles in Service.”

One exhibit, on the first floor of Mountlake Terrace Hall, focuses on student-athletes and the stories they tell about how they came to be at Edmonds CC.

At the other exhibit, on the second floor of Snohomish Hall, service-learning students speak of the joy and enlightenment they experienced as they helped out in the community.

The student photographers were supervised by Edmonds CC photography instructor Michael Wewer. They were Ariel Alfaro, Phylis Au, Matt Austin, Shelby Goettle, Michael Guidrey, Justin Lim, and Pierce Pronovost.

Two black-and-white classes and one on color and digital photography will be offered during winter quarter at the college. Classes run Jan. 6-March 21. See the winter class schedule at www.edmonds.edu/schedule.
