Edmonds CC and the Boeing Co. co-sponsor Ethics Challenge
11/15/2013
Edmonds College’s Workforce Development and Training, in partnership with the Boeing Co., is sponsoring an Ethics Challenge 8:30-11:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 22, at the Black Box Theatre, 20000 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood.
Students, faculty, staff, and the public are encouraged to attend. There will be door
prizes.
In the challenge, five teams of five students from Business Management and Energy
Management classes — in a quiz show format — will learn about ethics through live
scenarios. Each team will have seven minutes to discuss its given scenario and three
minutes to report answers.
Both Edmonds CC and Boeing will supply judges.
“This is a great partnership with Workforce Development and Training and Boeing to promote learning in the area of business ethics,” said Business Management
instructor Marie Tran. “It’s an interactive learning environment utilizing teamwork,
communication, human relations, and critical thinking skills.”
Boeing executives and managers, as well as the college’s leadership team, will be
present at the event.
All members of the five teams will be invited to tour Boeing on Dec. 6.
