PACE-IT program offers free tuition for four IT certificates

Students interested in Edmonds College’s PACE-IT (Progressive Accelerated Certificates for Employment in Information Technology) program can apply online anytime or can register for and attend a PACE-IT information and admission session. The sessions will be held on the first Wednesday of every month at 6 p.m. through December in Mountlake Terrace Hall 138, 20000 68th Ave. W. In addition to the campus sessions, four Skype sessions are scheduled.

In the PACE-IT program, students pay no tuition and work at their own pace to earn an IT certificate online. They pay only for books, college enrollment fees, and any IT industry certification exam fees.

The next sessions are April 2, May 7, and May 8 (Skype). To attend an information and admissions session, sign up online at www.edmonds.edu/pace-it/information-sessions.html.

With a cover letter and resume, interested students will be able to:

  • learn about and apply for the program,
  • take the online assessment test, and
  • possibly be admitted into the program that evening.

  • Introduction to Network Security
