Explore composites and aerospace manufacturing at an Engineering Technology open house Sept. 4
08/20/14
Edmonds College invites those who like to develop, build, and design. Delve into the world of composites and aerospace manufacturing at an open house on Sept. 4, 6-8 p.m. in Monroe Hall on campus, 20000 68th Ave. W, Lynnwood. It is free and open to the public.
Roll up your sleeves. You'll get a taste of the Engineering Technology program while you make something out of carbon fiber. And, you get to take your creation home, too!
There will be tours of the materials lab. Current students and instructors will be on hand to talk about the program. Staff will explain how to apply and enroll, as well as answer any financial aid questions.
Free pizza and refreshments will be provided.
The Engineering Technology program combines training in composites manufacturing, robotics, and electronics. Classes introduce students to materials science, composite materials, engineering design, and robotics and electronics technology.
