Edmonds CC to host live‑stream viewing of TEDxSnoIsleLibraries 2016, Nov. 18
11/14/16
Edmonds Community College will host a live-stream viewing of TEDxSnoIsleLibraries 2016, an annual event where speakers come together on a global stage to share ideas worth spreading, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18.
The viewing will be held on campus in Woodway Hall 202. It is free and open to the public.
Tonya Drake, Edmonds CC vice president of College Relations and Advancement, will be one of four live-event hosts at the Edmonds Center for the Arts.
“I feel honored to participate in this event where innovators and thought leaders can come together and share their ideas,” Drake said.
TEDx events are designed to inspire wonder, deep thought, reflection, and new meaningful connections. The event will feature 17 speakers who will address this year’s theme of “Transformations.”
Edmonds CC Running Start student Radhika Dalal will be one of the presenters. Dalal, a first-generation American of Indian heritage, is a senior at Kamiak High School, an organizer of TEDxYouth@KHS, and an intern at the Institute for Systems Biology.
