discover the ultimate hangout spot: triton game room
The Triton Game Room isn’t just about games—it’s a community. Stewart Sinning, the Game Room Manager, has been at Edmonds since 2010 in a variety of roles in different departments. His time in the Triton Game Room is all about “creating a space for students to hang out. It’s about creating a sense of belonging for students to relax with their friends, de-stress, and have fun playing some games.”
The Triton Game Room is located in Brier Hall, Room 233, and is equipped with the latest gaming consoles like Xbox, Playstation, and the Nintendo Switch. We also have a pool and ping pong table, along with a selection of board games. Plus, there’s free popcorn to enjoy while you hang out!
Regulars come for the friendly competition, whether it’s Super Smash Bros or ping pong, and leave with new friends. If you're competitive, don’t miss the ping pong and Super Smash Bros Ultimate tournaments, where pizza and soda are free for all. Make sure to mark your calendar for upcoming events like the Dungeons and Dragons One Shot Adventure on March 11.
“Students in the game room are all on a first-name basis, and everyone gets along with each other,” Stewart added. “We have many of the same students come in, so we have the Super Smash Bros crowd, the ping pong crowd, and the FIFA crowd all mixed in. There’s always laughter and friendships being made in the game room. It can get boisterous, that's for sure.”
The game room is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., so drop by anytime, bring your Edpass, and come game on!
