Biology

THE STUDY OF LIFE

Whether you want a rigorous background in life sciences, a foundation for healthcare-related careers, or knowledge about the diversity of biology and its impacts on society, our biology courses provide you with opportunities to learn in a student-centered environment.

You'll get hands-on laboratory and field experiences using investigation methods and experimental techniques that reflect the current state of biological science. Many of our classes incorporate curriculum-based undergraduate research experiences where you can participate in research projects as part of the course, field-based exploration, and service-learning activities, where you engage in biology-related community service projects.
