  • Talk to your high school counselor or educational advocate about EdCAP
  • Talk to your family about EdCAP
  • Get copies of all of your high school transcripts
  • Get copies of your IEP (if applicable)
  • Browse the Edmonds College website to see our programs
  • Apply to Edmonds College as a Transitional Studies/High School Diploma student
  • Keep an eye out for communication from EdCAP and/or Pre-College Staff

Application Steps

  1. Complete and Submit Eligibility Application Packet to Mukilteo Hall, room 403 on the Edmonds College campus
    Deadline for turning in Winter quarter application material is December 18, 2024 by 5 p.m.
  2. Request your counselor submit a transcript and Counselor Recommendation Form to precollege@edmonds.edu.
  3. Complete Edmonds College Online Application
    1. Apply as a first year student
    2. Select Transitional Studies, and High School Diploma program.

If eligible, you will be invited to an intake appointment to register for classes. All new students will be required to attend EdCAP Prep Day. Dates will be provided upon enrollment.

Spring Quarter Deadlines:

Applications should be completed as soon as possible.
Applications submitted after the deadlines below are processed on a case by case basis.

Spring 2025 (Classes start April 7)

  • Final Application Deadline:  March 26, 2025
  • EdCAP Prep Day (required for new students): March 26 or April 2
EdCAP English Language Acquisition Program has limited spaces and fills fast, please apply as early as possible.
