Relationships in STEM Education (RiSE)
The RiSE Peer Mentor Program offers peer mentorship to first-year students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), with a specific focus in biology/pre-nursing, computer science, and engineering. Mentors are knowledgeable guides who act as a role model and can connect you to the right people and resources on campus to help you succeed.
Benefits for RiSE students:
- learn about resources and opportunities and where to get the support you need
- increased confidence and self-efficacy
- knowledge of your program and career opportunities
- connect with another student and have someone to talk to
