University of Navarra exchange | FALL 2022
This program is a unique opportunity to become completely immersed in Spanish culture and to take your Spanish and Management studies to the next level! In this exchange program, students enroll at the University of Navarra in Pamplona, Spain and take a semester of tuition-free, transferable Edmonds College credits during Fall and Winter quarters.
This program is treated and run as an exchange with only a few students for a longer time than a traditional study abroad program. The purpose is to internationalize both participating campuses, and we design specific pre-departure meetings for Edmonds College students who are accepted. The greatest advantage to this program is the true immersion you will experience. You will be fully surrounded by Spanish culture and language and university life, much more so compared to a traditional study abroad program.
From September to December, you will be immersed in Pamplona life. During this time, you will also have the chance to meet students and other people from countries around the world.
LOCATION
Pamplona, Spain is located in the Northern region of Navarre, which is also a Basque cultural region. This city is most famous for the Running of the Bulls that happens every year during the San Femin Festivla in July, and the Osasuna Football (Soccer) team! There is a lot of old, classic architecture dating back as far as the Roman Empire, local festivals, and Mediterranean cuisine. The University of Navarra is the premier university of the city, and ranked the best private university in Spain. You will also be in easy travelling distance of other cities in Spain like Bilbao and Barcelona, and just an hour away from France.
