Student Technology Borrowing Agreement
Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) has a quarter-term long laptop borrowing program for actively enrolled Edmonds College students. A limited number of laptops are available to support students who do not have access to any other device or are unable to use their own computer for academic work. Laptops will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis for eligible students and supplies are limited.
IT Resources are the property of Edmonds College and are intended to be used in a manner that is consistent with the college’s mission and values. All Borrowers are responsible for the manner in which they use IT Resources and shall not be used for any illegal activities or for personal gains unrelated to educational pursuits here at Edmonds College.
PURPOSE: To understand your responsibilities when you check out (borrow) an item from Edmonds College
WHO: Only students who are enrolled in at least one (1) course in the quarter can borrow items
AGREEMENT VOCABULARY:
- item = Chromebook, laptop, or other technology item
- pieces of an item = the item has several parts (example: a charging cord)
- fragile items = items that break easily (example: Chromebooks or laptops)
