Program Services

Academic Advising

Meet with a TRIO advisor regularly to develop an academic plan to complete an associate's degree at Edmonds College and/or transfer on to a 4-year college or university. We will discuss your educational goals, help plan for balanced course loads, develop quarter-by-quarter academic plans, and assist with priority registration. We can assist you in becoming transfer-ready for their four-year institutions of choice and major-ready for their program as well!

Counseling

Meet with a licensed mental health counselor on our staff to receive personal and career counseling. You can work with our counselors to address your challenges in school and life and develop a stronger understanding of your educational and career goals.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Our TRIO staff can assist with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), as well as the annual renewal process with Financial Aid Services department, and support you when addressing petitions for reinstatement due to probation or termination of aid. TRIO shares news of scholarships, can guide the search for a scholarship, and assist with completing scholarship applications and reviewing essays.

Tutoring

TRIO provides personalized, one-on-one tutoring to you in various subjects. We utilize a variety of peer and part-time staff tutors who are knowledgeable in the course information and are trained to help you better understand course content to increase success and enhance self-confidence.

Study Room 

TRIO offers a welcoming space for you, filled with large tables to study at, various student computer workstations with printing, and other resources to assist you.

Workshops

Our staff works together to offer a variety of academic and personal workshops each quarter. Ask a TRIO advisor to learn more about upcoming workshops!
