Satisfactory Academic Progress Requirements

As a veteran receiving benefits, you must make satisfactory academic progress each quarter you attend the college. You are held to the same standards as the financial aid students on our campus. As part of your paperwork, you sign a Conditions of Award form that details the requirements you must follow. The policy is also located on the Financial Aid website.

The following highlights a few of the requirements related to Satisfactory Academic Progress:

• You must earn at least a 2.0 GPA each quarter.
• You must complete a minimum number of credits each quarter based on the enrollment level you were certified for.
• You cannot be funded for classes that are not required for your degree or certificate program.
• For VA educational benefits, you cannot be funded to repeat a class in which you received a grade of at least 2.0.
