Welcome Day
What is Welcome Day?
The day is designed to welcome students back on campus and kick off the new academic year. Returning students can register for classes and financial aid, take care of testing, get books and parking, and much more. New students can get adjusted to campus and start the year off right by joining us for orientation!
Highlights Include:
- Meet & Greet: Register for the event, connect with faculty, staff, and fellow students, and get
an overview of the day's schedule.
- 10-11:15 a.m. (Black Box Theatre)
- Workshop Sessions: Learn about academic programs, financial aid, scholarships, work-study programs,
and more.
- 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (Hazel Miller Hall, 2nd floor)
- Food & Entertainment: Enjoy food, music, and fun activities throughout the day!
- 12:30-1 p.m. (Brier Hall)
- Info Sessions: Learn about Running Start or financial aid options.
- 1-1:45 p.m. (Running Start, Black Box Theatre)
- 1-1:45 p.m. (Financial Aid, Hazel Miller 205)
- Campus Tours: Discover your new home away from home!
- 1-3 p.m. (Meet in Brier Hall)
- Resource Fair: Find out about clubs, organizations, and community resources. Meet academic advisors,
counselors, and support staff.
- 1-3 p.m. (Brier Hall)
