The Executive Board Team
The Executive Board is the official voice of the Associated Students of Edmonds College. The Executive Board legislates and promotes student activities, programs and services and represents Edmonds College students to faculty, staff, administrators, and legislators. The board is here to serve the students and wants to hear from you.
Meet the 2024-25 Executive Board Team
Ruth Nakigozi - Administration

Serves as the primary student administrator for the Associated Students of Edmonds
College, the liaison to the college administration, and the student representative
at the Edmonds College Board of Trustee meetings.
Leniah Ednacot - Academics
asec_academ@edmonds.edu
Represents the instructional needs of students to instructional staff and ensures
students have an outstanding educational experience that meets their academic goals.
Ameer Hasan Mahmood - Budget and Finance
asec_budget@edmonds.edu
Serves as the financial manager of the association and is responsible for ensuring
all student government-funded programs use student fees in a fiscally responsible
manner. Chairs the annual Services and Activities Fee Budget Committee.
Ken Park - Clubs and Organizations

Assists clubs and organizations in the chartering process and reports to the Executive Board on all clubs and organizations programs and events. Coordinates the annual awards ceremony that recognizes participation and service in clubs and organizations.
Katelyn Thomas - Community Relations

Serves as the Associated Students representative at the state and federal level concerning
student issues and concerns. Coordinates voter registration and information for students
at Edmonds College.
Tiffany Mphepo - Diversity
asec_diversity@edmonds.edu
Supports all campus-wide diversity efforts to create an inclusive and safe environment
for all students.
Sala Li - Student Relations

Responsible for student advocacy and relays student concerns and issues to the Executive Board and college administration. Works with the Executive Board to gather input from students regarding their college experience and to create new opportunities for students.
Sal Kakar - Technology
asec_tech@edmonds.edu
Advocates for technology support and training for all students to enhance their educational
experience at Edmonds College. Oversees the use of the student techology fee and chairs
the annual Technology Fee Management Committee.
