About Tucker: 

My background is in materials science and engineering and mechanical engineering. I have a Ph.D. in Materials Science with a focus on composite materials. I originally started at Edmonds College as a part-time faculty in the Engineering Technology department before becoming a full-time tenured engineering faculty.

My interests include computer-aided design (CAD), 3D printing, materials science, and electronics.  I am doing some work with robotics as well.  I also enjoy working with students on hands-on design projects.
