Degree Requirements
The Integrated Healthcare Management Bachelor of Applied Science degree is a total of 180 credits.
Credits are split into three 60-credit sections:
Admission to the program requires 25 credits of proficiency as prerequisites. Students may take up to 35 credits as part of the program to reach the 60 total credits required for this section.
This requirement is typically satisfied by completing the core courses of an Associate in Applied Science - Transfer (AAS-T), or equivalent degree, in one of the following:
- Allied Health Education
- Medical Laboratory Science
- Medical Assisting
- Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Pharmacy Technician
- Physical Therapy Assistant
- Radiologic Technology
- Surgical Technology
- Or other equivalent area of study
If you have credits from a college other than Edmonds College, please contact the IHCM Program Manager for a preliminary transcript review to determine which of your courses may transfer as proficiency to our program.
Admission to the program requires the completion of ENGL& 101 - English Composition and 15 credits of additional general education courses. Students may take up to 40 credits as part of the program to reach the 60 total credits required for this section.

If you have credits from a college other than Edmonds College, please contact the IHCM Program Manager for a preliminary transcript review to determine which courses may transfer as general education to our program.
This requirement will be completed in two years (6 quarters) during the BAS-IHCM program. Each quarter will consist of 10 credits of IHCM courses which are held during Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarters.
Summer Quarter can be used for completing general education or proficiency credits, if needed.
