ctcLink is a new self-service portal and mobile app Edmonds College students will use to register for classes, apply for financial aid, manage personal contact information, pay tuition, track academic goals, contact instructors, view grades, apply for graduation, and more! All 34 community and technical colleges in the state will transition to the new ctcLink system.

New students can apply for admission online now! There will be a slight delay in the processing of the applications due to the system upgrade. New applicants will receive a notice with their new ctcLink ID once their application has been processed.
Yes! Edmonds College continues to offer a tuition payment plan.
If you have any questions after you log into ctcLink, check with the Cashiers Office. If you are an international student, please contact the Office of International Programs.
Now! You are able to download the ctcLink app on your smartphone today. It can be downloaded and used anytime. Here’s how:
- The ctcLink ctcLink app is available for download on IOS and Android devices. Simply go to your app store, type in “ctcLink,” and download the free app.
- Once downloaded, open the app and scroll all the way down and agree to the terms and conditions.
- Select “Edmonds College” as your institution.
- You’ll then see a series of tiles. The tiles link out to various web pages on edmonds.edu or into the ctcLink portal.
- The app is also available as a mobile-friendly webpage if you’d rather not download the app.
Use the app to access the ctcLink login portal, Canvas, the Edmonds College website, directory, calendar, map, catalog, emergency information, bookstores, Triton Athletics, and more!
New students: Your ctcLink ID number is included in the welcome email you get from Edmonds College.
Current students: When you first activate your new ctcLink account, you’ll log in as a first time user with your SID. You will immediately see a popup window message showing your new ctcLink ID. Be sure to write down, or take a photo/screenshot of this number and keep it in a safe place. You will need this for the next step of logging into the portal. You will NOT be able to log in again with your SID. Only your ctcLInk ID will work going forward.
You will also be prompted to create a password, and answers to security questions. It is a good idea to safekeep this information with your ctcLink ID as well at this time.

If you are experiencing issues with enrolling for classes, paying tuition, etc. with the ctcLink mobile app. Please try the following suggestions:
- Close the app and reopen it to start a new session and try again.
- Open a web browser on your phone (Safari, Chrome, etc.) and proceed to the mobile-friendly version of ctcLink. From here, try to complete your task.
- Restart your mobile device and try the above suggestions again
Current Students: Unofficial transcripts are available in ctcLink through Student Self Service under the "Academic Records" tile. For more information, please visit the unofficial transcript help page in the ctcLink Reference Center.
Students can order official transcripts as usual through the National Student Clearinghouse:
- These orders cost $7.75 per transcript, plus an additional $2.50 processing fee per order destination.
- Processed in 3 business days.
- To order now, go to the National Student Clearinghouse Order or Track a Transcript website
- Select “Edmonds College” from the drop-down menu and click “Submit”.

- You’ll be guided through the easy, step-by-step process which enables you to receive email and text updates as well as track your orders online.
Yes, if you previously have an SID (Student Identification Number) your ctcLink ID number replaces your old SID.
After activation, your old SID number and PINs will not work in ctcLink.
Great! You will not need a new number. The ctcLink ID and password you already have will be used at Edmonds College as well.
Your ctcLink ID was sent to you with your welcome admissions letter.
No, Canvas is not going away. You will continue to access Canvas for all online components of your classes before and after the transition to the new self-service portal.
All Canvas users will now be using their ctcLink credentials to log in to Canvas accounts.
No. You will still have access to your student emailaccount. In ctcLink, students and employees can change their preferred email address. Once in your student portal, you’ll be able to change your preferred contact and name in your “Profile” tile.
Student employees should edit their preferred details through the “Personal Details” tile in the Employee Self Service center.
Find your registration time online or in ctcLink. In your ctcLink Student Portal, click the "Manage Classes" tile, then select "Enrollment Dates on the left panel. Also, check the class schedule in advance to find available classes.
Steps to register for classes:
Follow these registration instructions (instructions also available here)
- Go to the ctcLink login page
- Enter your ctcLink ID and password, and click Sign In
- Click Student Homepage, then Manage Classes
- On the left, select Class Search and Enroll
- Select the term and institution (Edmonds College)
- At the top of the page you can enter a keyword to search for specific classes. Then select the Search button.
- Note: On the left-hand side different filters will display for you to narrow your
search results. These filters are:
- Subject
- Class Status (open classes)
- Course Career
- Number of Units (Credits)
- Location
- Instruction Mode
- Academic Session
- Class Meeting Days (Days of the week)
- Class Start Times
- Class End Times
- Class Components (Lecture/ Lab)
- Class Attribute
- Select a Course and the class sections will display.
- Select the Class hyperlink to view details.
- The Class Information window will display. Review each of the five tabs:
- Class Details
- Meeting Information
- Enrollment Information
- Class Availability
- Textbook/Other Information
- Click on the Close (X) button to close the Class Information window
- To enroll in this class, click on the right arrow (>) at the end of the row for that class section
- The Class Search and Enroll guide displays in Step 1 Review Class Selection on the left-hand side of the screen. Select the Next link at the top right of the page.
- Step 2 Review Class Preference page will display. Input Wait List preference or Permission Number (if applicable) and select the Accept button.
- Step 3 Enroll or Add to Cart page displays.
- Here you will have the ability to add the class to your Shopping Cart and search for additional classes prior to enrollment or to process the enrollment for the individual course.
- If you want to add this to your Shopping Cart and continue to search for additional classes, select Add to Shopping Cart and then the Next button.
- If you are done searching for classes and are ready to enroll select Enroll then the Next button.
- Step 4 Review and Submit page will display. Once you select the Submit button, a submit confirmation page will display.
- Select the Yes option to confirm submission.
- Note: A message bar at the top of the page appears to confirm the course has been added or errors will display.
- Typical errors include, not meeting an enrollment requirement, a time conflict, full class, etc.
- The updated Confirmation page will display. Select View My Classes on the left side to confirm that your class has been added.

Users may encounter unusual errors with ctcLink if the version of the program they are using is not compatible with PeopleSoft. These errors are unlikely to be seen by staff members – your local IT likely keeps your programs up-to-date – but can be more common among students with older browser versions. Here are some minimum version requirements for programs that can be used with ctcLink:
