Undergraduate Research Chemistry Courses

  • Chemistry &163 (6 credits):  General Chemistry III. For science majors and engineers. 
    Students in this class have the opportunity to work on an independent research project using skills and techniques developed in Chemistry& 161 and 162. Depending on when the class is taken, students may be able to present their research at the Edmonds College Spring Research Symposium, or at another local or national conference.  This class is usually offered in spring and summer, and in sometimes in winter if there is sufficient enrollment. Note that not every instructor includes a research component in their curriculum.  Please reach out to the instructor if you have questions about the opportunity for research in your particular class.
