Undergraduate Research Physics Courses

PHYS& 221, 222, 223

This physics sequence is for students with an interest in becoming scientists and engineers. Students in this class will develop their skills in experimental design and scientific communication. Students may also explore aerodynamics with our wind tunnel, measure the mechanical properties of materials and structures using our universal testing machine, or investigate optical systems using an optics table. Students in the spring quarter may present at the Edmonds College Research Symposium.

PHYS& 114, 115, 116

This physics sequence is for students pursuing degrees in health & medicine, architecture, construction, and other science and technology programs. Students in this class will develop their skills in experimental design and scientific communication. Past students in this class have examined topics in biomechanics, structural integrity, and health technology, just to name a few. Students in the spring quarter may present at the Edmonds College Research Symposium.
