What To Do Inside
- If you are inside where a spill has occurred, protect yourself and leave the building.
- If gas or vapors have entered the building, take shallow breaths through a cloth or towel.
- Notify Campus Safety and Security at 425.754.0154.
- Provide as much information as possible when emergency responders arrive.
- Tell emergency responders if you have been exposed to chemicals.
What To Do Outside
- Protect yourself by evacuating to a safe location that is uphill and upwind.
- Notify Campus Safety and Security at 425.754.0154.
- Stop others from entering an unsafe area, if possible.
- Provide as much information as possible when emergency responders arrive.
- Tell emergency responders if you have been exposed to chemicals.
What Not To Do
- Do not try to clean up a spill.
- Do not touch or step in spilled materials.
- Avoid contact with others if you or they have been exposed to chemicals.
- Do not reenter an area or building until notified to do so by emergency responders.
