What To Do If Inside

1. Drop, cover, and hold on until the shaking ends.
2. Stay calm and encourage others to do so.
3. Assume all alarms are real and follow directions.
4. Find a safe exit route (no elevators) and leave the building.

What To Do If Outside

1. Move to an open area away from buildings, trees, and overhead power lines.
2. Follow directions from emergency responders.
3. Keep people warm in vehicles or with clothing until shelters have been established.
4. Take note of anyone leaving the campus.
5. Stay outside until emergency responders tell you it is safe to go back inside.
