Choosing the correct English Class
- AENGL (Academic English) - for advanced English Language learners who need pre-college coursework in reading, writing, grammar, and communication skills.
- ENGL - Includes college-level literature and creative writing courses that transfer as
general English credit.
- ENGL& - Includes college-level composition and literature courses that have a one-to-one equivalency at receiving transfer institutions.
- ENGLP (English Prep) - bridges the gap between where your academic skills are now and where you will need them to be in order to succeed in college. The English Prep Department offers a sequence of courses that are a perfect way to brush up on your skills – whether you plan to attend college in the future or are currently taking college courses.
