International Night is a cultural showcase celebrating diversity at Edmonds College! Students, faculty, and community members of Edmonds College share their culture through music, dance, and the arts. With the intercampus support of Center for Student Engagement and Leadership, Housing, and Office of International Programs, we are able to share our dedication to teaching, learning, and community through this showcase!

WANT TO PERFORM AT INTERNATIONAL NIGHT? WE NEED YOU!

We invite you to sign up for any of the following areas: 

performer from international night

  • Performer: We invite you to audition yourself or a group to share your culture through the arts. We will be focusing on the content and cultural relevance of your performance more than the quality. This means that you must prepare a song, dance, poem, etc. that showcases your home country or culture. Actual performances should be about 5 minutes or less. We might be able to make exceptions depending on the performance. Performers must be available for the important dates below.

AND/OR

  • Flag Bearer: Represent your country by being a flag bearer! This requires no audition. There is one meeting prior to the rehearsal night (Date to be determined). Flag bearers must be available for the important dates below. Only one flag bearer will be chosen to represent each country.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Sign Up Form Due: Friday, Jan. 10, 12 p.m.
  • First Video Check-In Due: Friday, Jan. 24, 12 p.m.
  • Walkthrough Time: Wednesday, February 5, 3-5 p.m.
  • Rehearsal Night:  Wednesday, February 12, 3-6 p.m.
  • International Night:  Wednesday, February 19, 4 & 7 p.m.
